Wildlife Conservation Expo
Zoo Boise visitors have generated $1,000,000 to support wildlife conservation projects in Idaho and around the world!  To celebrate this milestone, Zoo Boise is hosting the first ever Wildlife Conservation Expo featuring 14 of the projects that have received funding from the Zoo Boise Conservation Fund.

Join us on Saturday, May 4 to hear incredible stories from these conservation groups:
  • Center for Ecosystem Survival
  • College of Idaho - Southern Idaho Ground Squirrels
  • Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness - Wolverines
  • International Rhino Foundation
  • Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project
  • New Nature Foundation - Chimpanzees
  • Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo - Lemurs
  • The Peregrine Fund - Andean Condors
  • Snow Leopard Trust
  • Turtle Survival Alliance - Radiated Tortoises
  • University of Idaho - Pygmy Rabbits
  • Wildlife SOS - Sloth Bears
  • Wildlife Conservation Society - Amur Tigers
  • Zoo Conservation Outreach Group
  • and a special video presentation about Gorongosa National Park

Conservation groups will be making 20 minute presentations about their projects and will be available for questions after each talk.  Ticket holders will be able to hear 8 talks given by the above groups.  In addition, each group will be available for further discussion or more information and may be selling items to support their work.  View the presentation schedule here.

Time: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tickets: $9 general admission, $7 students

Programs will be suitable for students 8 years and older.
