Field Trips
Zoo Boise is a WILD place to learn about animal wildlife. The guidelines below will assist youth group leaders and teachers in arranging a fun, educational, and organized visit for their group at Zoo Boise.
At-the-Zoo Guided Visits
These programs are zoo-instructor led tours for a variety of topics and ages. Students will participate in a variety of activities and learning experiences which include meeting live animals, examining animal artifacts, and a mini-tour focusing on one subject. At-the-Zoo Programs are designed to help school teachers meet Idaho Academic Standards and provide a more focused and fun educational Zoo Boise visit.
Self-Guided Visits
Self-Guided visits are a more inexpensive way for students to learn about animal wildlife. Children are able explore the zoo with their chaperones on their own time.
