Butterflies in Bloom Returns

One of Zoo Boise’s most popular exhibits ever returns this weekend!  Butterflies in Bloom will open on Sunday, June 1 and stay at Zoo Boise through Labor Day.  Visitors will stroll through a flower filled greenhouse as hundreds of colorful butterflies from Costa Rica fly above and around them.

Entry to Butterflies in Bloom is included with admission to Zoo Boise.  Also through Labor Day, visitors can see the special Dinosaur exhibit featuring 6 animatronic dinosaurs stationed throughout the zoo.

Summer hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, June 1 through Labor Day.  Admission is $10.00 for adults, $8.00 seniors age 62 and older, $7.00 for children ages 3-11, and free for children age 2 and younger. Friends of Zoo Boise Annual Pass Holders are admitted free.   The Dinosaur exhibit is made possible through the support of KTVB, season media sponsor The Idaho Statesman and 2014 season sponsor, U.S. Bank.
