Group Rates & Regulations
Zoo Boise is happy to offer discounted admission to the following groups:
• Schools
• Nonprofit youth groups
• Government Agencies
• Assisted Living Homes/Care Providers & clients
Group rates cover admission into the zoo for everyone in your group, but do not cover guided tours. For more information on our guided field trips, please visit our Education Department.
Schools - public, private, home schools and preschoolsSchool groups can receive a discounted admission of $2.50/person. This rate applies to the teachers/chaperones as well as students.
- The school rate is only available during the Boise School District school year, Monday through Friday. An exception will be made for modified track schools. Homeschool groups will only receive this rate with children ages 4-18.
- Payment must be for
the entire group using either one check or cash. Please have your
group totals ready when arriving (number of adults, children 4-11, and
children 3 and under). Multiple methods of payment are not allowed at
the discounted rate.
- If a student comes with his/her class and has a current Friends of Zoo Boise annual pass, the student is admitted free. The instructor can confirm the student’s identity. A photo ID is not necessary.

(Back to Top)Nonprofit youth groupsNonprofit agencies serving children under 18 are eligible for the school group rate. Examples of groups that qualify for this rate include the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Boys & Girls Clubs, church youth groups, etc.

(Back to Top)Assisted Living Homes/Care Providers with clientsExamples include retirement homes and agencies that assist the disabled. Care providers coming to the zoo with 1 client will be charged the normal admission rate.

admission of $4.00/person including the care provider.
