Hours and Prices

Zoo Boise is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm through September 19.  From September 20 through May 20, the zoo is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Every Thursday is discount admission day

Friends of Zoo Boise Annual Pass holders receive FREE admission to Zoo Boise all year round (plus free or discounted admission to over 100 other zoos around the country).  Learn more about the many benefits of supporting your zoo!  Annual Pass holders will need to show current ID when entering Zoo Boise.

*Zoo Boise will close early at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 23 for "Zoobilee!"

*Giraffe Encounters are available for the first 50 visitors daily from 10:15 - 11:00 am, weather permitting.  The Giraffe Encounter is closed in the winter, due to the temperature.
